The course (LHD Scoop Truck Training) is designed to train learners on how to inspect and operate a dump truck according to the manufacturer’s specifications and worksite requirements. The course is accredited by CETA and learners receive a genuine and accredited rigid body dump truck certificate and license after their training. The course includes 30% theory and 70% practical training and assessment.
The skills, knowledge and understanding demonstrated within this unit standard contribute to social and economic transformation and the upliftment and economic growth of the mining and minerals sector by transporting broken rock by means of a diesel-powered load haul dumper in an underground workplace as part of the mining process. The medium of communication during training is English. So it is assumed that the learner has basic understanding of english language.
Students are required to come with their ID /PASSPORT during registration time.
Student are also required to come with two passport sized photos.
PPE, a student is required to have personal protective equipment for LHD Scoop truck training. PPEs can be obtained at our training centre or a learner may come with a pack.

Duration of LHD Scoop truck training
LHD Scoop truck training take between 5 days of training.
LHD Scoop Truck training also teachers Operators that they can be expected to work in noisy environments, especially inside dump-the truck cabin which can vibrate quite a lot when in operation. lhd scoop Truck Operators are expected to work in all kinds of weather conditions, and to be confident in handling all kinds of equipment, parts and industrial materials.
During lhd truck training, we focus on mining sites as well because most of dump trucks can be found on mining sites, farms, industrial sites and construction sites.
